IMEMC – Palestinian medical sources have reported that two Palestinians, including a child, were injured in a series of Israeli air strikes targeting different areas of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) has reported that F-16 Israeli war jets fired a missile into the Abu Jarad area, south of Gaza City, and several Palestinian agricultural lands in the area, wounding two Palestinians including an 18-month toddler.

The two suffered moderate wounds, and were moved to the Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City.

Furthermore, Israeli F-16 fighter jets and Apache helicopters fired several missiles into agricultural lands and open areas, and into a store used for selling and maintaining washing machines in Jabalia town, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The attacks led to significant property damage to various homes and stores in the area; several residents, mainly children, suffered anxiety attacks.

Eyewitnesses said Israeli helicopters and Apache war jets also carried out various low altitude flights over the homes in different parts of the besieged and impoverished coastal region.
